Office - President - Nominee: Mike Holtzclaw

Hello, my name is Mike Holtzclaw, and I have accepted the nomination to run for the 2026-2027 AK PCA Region President. I have been an active member in the Alaska Region for over 20 years and held some of the AK PCA administration positions for many of those years. I have been active in our Autocross’s which is the major fund-raising program over the years as well help and participate in our many drives and other events we have done over the years. Some years ago, I set up AK PCA to participate in the Anchorage Highway Clean-up, a community service which volunteers from the club would come out and help the clean-up of our designated section of road on Minnesota Dr. and I would reinstate the club in this program for the upcoming summers. I would be more involved with working with and advancing the Jr’s Program within the Alaska Region to work with the parents and help promote this program.

I am self-employed and have run my own business for over 30 years, which does allow me to have flexible hours to do what is needed for the club when it is needed as well as continuing to be the club liaison with the local dealer. I also like to reach out to the members who are our of the Anchorage bowl and touch bases with them so they do not think we have forgotten as; Fairbanks is a prime example.

I have attended over 16 National PCA Parades that are held in locations all over the US, driving to almost all of them in our 1985 911 Carrera or what we affectionately call “Ole Bessie”. I have a strong connection with the core PCA National Administrators from attending these events and representing AK PCA along with other members who attend them with me.
Office – Vice President: Nominee: David Oliver

Prior to retiring, I served as the President, Principal Engineer, and majority stockholder of a mid-sized mechanical consulting engineering firm in Anchorage. My partner and I incorporated the firm in 1986 and grew it from 8 employees to 35 by the time of my retirement in 2010. As President, I was responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of the firm, including bringing new clients and new projects, maintaining existing clients, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, overseeing all employees, payroll, etc. Our firm has won national awards, and over the years, we have designed literally thousands of projects throughout Alaska, as well as worked on major projects in Antarctica for the National Science Foundation.
In the past years, I was involved with the Arctic Alaska Region of the SCCA, attending board meetings, being the primary autocross course designer for several years, teaching autocross course design, being the Regional Executive for a short stint, being certified as an SCCA Autocross Safety Steward, and holding a SCCA National Competition Racing License.

My wife, Yvonne, and I have been Porsche owners since 2006 and members of the Alaska Region PCA since 2009. Our primary residence is in Palmer, Alaska, and we have a 718 Boxster S that Yvonne uses as a daily driver. We are also snowbirds, typically spending January thru mid-April in Florida, where we have a 911 as a daily driver. Consequently, we have also been members of the Florida Thoroughbred Region PCA since 2015 and participate in their club activities.

We have really enjoyed our membership with the Alaska Region, participating in numerous drives, attending club socials, in past years, autocrossing with the club, and attending numerous Porsche Parades. Having participated in so many club events over the years, it is time for me to give back to the club, and I feel that fulfilling the duties of the club Vice President would be a great start.
Office – Treasurer: Faith Hamilton

I have been the region’s Webmaster since 2015, and I joined as a primary member shortly after that. However, my history with the region dates back to the late 1990s, when I autocrossed on a regular basis with the SCCA, the Corvette Club, the Alaska Sports Car Club, and, of course, our region.

Although I have not been an official “board member”, I have been attending board meetings and have been within the inner working of the executive level of our club for nearly 10 years.

As a business owner and past board member with SCCA and ASCC, I bring experience and financial accountability to the Treasurer's position. As well as historical experience to mentor incoming board members.

My goal as a board member would be to establish not only a mentorship process for future prospective board members, but also a structure of “non-board” volunteer positions and committees. Not everyone wants the responsibility as a board member, but I feel we have some very talented members that we could be forming relationships with to create more programs and events without burning out the existing board.
Office – Treasurer: Teri Holtzclaw

My name is Teri Holtzclaw, and I have accepted the nomination to run for the club Treasurer for 2026-2027. I retired after working for many years in accounting for corporations (not a CPA) and now have even more time to dedicate to helping the club.

My previous responsibilities when I worked in the private sector were to keep track of the company’s funds in their corporate bank accounts, paying bills in a timely manner and another position was working with contracts and completing billings for a major drilling company. Keeping track of the club funds is something I am confident I can accomplish for the club , plus I enjoy pitching in as a team player and helping the club whenever possible.

I have been a co-member of the AK PCA for over 20 years and over most of those years, I have held many of the AK PCA administrative positions, Secretary, Vice President and President and I have had the good fortune to attend many of the Porsche Parades throughout the USA and have developed good relationships with many of the PCA National Board with those I have met over the years. I would appreciate your consideration.
Thank you.
